Several departments battle brush fire in Sheboygan County

SHEBOYGAN -- Wildfires have been reported around Wisconsin because of the dry conditions and the lack of snow.

Sunday, a wildfire in Sheboygan County spread fast because of the wind, and several departments had to be called in. The fire occurred shortly before 3:00 Sunday, March 11th in a marshy area.

The fire got close to some homes, but there has been no reported damage or injuries.

Officials say there was difficulty battling this blaze because of limited access to the area of the fire.

Officials say the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
