The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office has a 33-year-old woman in custody, accused of abducting a four-year-old girl from Starms. Police say the woman entered the school and claimed that she was asked by the child’s mother to pick up the four-year-old girl. The woman then left with the child.
The two were found near 25th & North, where the child’s mother confronted the suspect and was able to get her child back. Milwaukee police arrested the suspect.
The Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office is expected to review the incident and make a decision on whether criminal charges will be filed.
