Police need help in search of construction equipment robber

DELAFIELD -- Delafield police need your help in their search for a person who stole some construction equipment from Stone Brook Homes early Monday, May 28th.

Officials with the company shared surveillance video of the theft (see above and below). It shows the suspect entering the lot and then breaking into a locked, L175 New Holland Skid Steer around 9 a.m. on Monday. The suspect drove the skid steer onto his own trailer in broad daylight and left the scene.

The skid steer has pallet forks and is valued at roughly $26,000.

The truck that was involved in the theft is described as an older model truck with what appears to be a hand-made dump box.
