Alderman Donovan to hold streetcar petition rally

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Alderman Bob Donovan held a petition drive to stop the Milwaukee streetcar project being pushed by his fellow aldermen and the mayor.

According to a release, Alderman Donovan is calling for a public referendum on the downtown streetcar project. The Alderman says 70% of the city's residents don't support the project.

This isn't the first event Alderman Donovan has publicly discussed the Milwaukee streetcar project. He clashed with the alderman who represents downtown Milwaukee -- Alderman Bob Bauman during a recent press conference.
