City of Franklin issues ban on burning

FRANKLIN — The City of Franklin has issued a continued ban on burning due to extreme dry conditions and fire risk.

Franklin Fire Chief, James Martins, is continuing a ban on all burning until further notice. Cooking on grills is permitted and should be monitored to keep them from getting out of control.
