Brewers fans gather to show support for battle against ALS
MILWAUKEE — Hundreds of Brewers fans turned out at Miller Park on Friday, July 27th to show their support for those battling ALS — better known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
The fans, many of them who deal with ALS on a daily basis, wore blue t-shirts with the slogan “ALS sucks” on it. It’s their way of showing support for those who face the challenges of the disease every day — and also a way of expressing hope a cure for the disease can be found soon.
