MPD: Burglars gaining access to homes by pushing in window ACs

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police say there's been an uptick in reported burglaries citywide, where criminals gained entry to homes by pushing in window air conditioning units. MPD has planned a news conference to discuss crime prevention Wednesday, September 12th.

MPD have released the following tips to help curb these burglaries:

Police ask anyone noticing any suspicious activity in the neighborhood to call MPD at (414) 933-4444.
