Milwaukee’s Slice of Ice offering free skate rentals February 20th

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Milwaukee County Parks announced that Wednesday, February 20th will be “Appreciation Day for Park Patrons,” a day of free skate rentals at Slice of Ice in Red Arrow Park, 920 N. Water St., from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

“The skating season at Red Arrow has been fantastic, and this event is our way of saying Thank you .We invite everyone to join us,” said Jim Keegan, Interim Parks Director.

Hours of operation through the end of the season will be Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with skate rentals beginning at 2 p.m.

On Fridays and Saturdays, the rink and skate rentals are available from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. On Sundays, both are available 11 a.m. -6 p.m. Patrons who bring their own skates, skate for FREE.
