Car fire damages exterior of home in Fond du Lac

FOND DU LAC (WITI) -- A car fire damaged a home on Scott St. in Fond du Lac on Sunday, April 21st.

The fire was called in to emergency responders around 4:30 a.m. Residents in the home were evacuated while firefighters worked to keep the fire from spreading to the home.

The fire was contained to the vehicle -- but not before the home was scorched on the outside.

The cause of the fire is undetermined at this hour. The vehicle was destroyed -- and nobody was hurt. The residents were able to return to their home.
