Lac La Belle home severely damaged by fire

LAC LA BELLE (WITI) -- A house in the Village of Lac La Belle was severely damaged by fire late Monday night, June 10th.

The fire started just before 10:30 p.m. at a home on Monstery Hill Ln.

Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department and the Town Oconomowoc Police Department responded along with numerous fire departments including; Oconomowoc, Okauchee, Stone Bank, Dousman, Ixonia, Sullivan, Lake Country, Watertown, North Lake, Hartland, Ashippun, Delafield, Eagle, Lisbon and Merton.

It is believed that the residence was unoccupied at the time of the fire as the homeowners were accounted for.  No injuries were sustained from the incident.

According to the City of Oconomowoc Fire Chief, the house was a total loss.

The State Fire Marshall was contacted and is assisting the Waukesha County Fire Investigators with an ongoing investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
