Jordy Nelson to attend screening of new ad during training camp

GREEN BAY (WITI) -- Friday, July 26th marks the start of Green Bay Packers training camp. After the next few days of non-stop Packer practice, the public is invited to take a break from the hot sun and join Jordy Nelson at the Meyer Theatre on Thursday, August 1st.

As the star of the new Wisconsin Department of Tourism fall TV ad, Nelson, along with the ad's director, Wisconsin native (and Hollywood director) Jerry Zucker, will help Secretary Stephanie Klett debut the spot.

The hour-long event includes a performance by “Let Me Be Frank's” Curly Lambeau as well as a Q&A session for the audience with Nelson and Zucker, who will talk about their experience working on the commercial.

Reserved tickets for the program are $15 in advance or $20 at the door and include a copy of the new Sports Illustrated coffee table book, “Packers: Green, Gold and Glory,” which retails for $34.95.
