Four shootings Monday night and into Tuesday morning



MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating four separate shooting incidents that occurred Monday night, August 5th and early Tuesday morning, August 6th.

The first incident occurred at approximately 7:27 p.m. near 25th and Concordia. According to police, a man sustained a gunshot wound to the chest. His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

Police say no arrests have been made and the incident remains under investigation.

The second shooting occurred in the 1500 block of W. Hopkins around 9:35 p.m. Police say a man sustained a gunshot wound to the elbow while walking down the street.

The third shooting occurred in the 3200 block of Sherman Avenue around 9:40 p.m.  According to officials, a 17-year-old boy sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

No arrested have been made in connection with this incident and it remains under investigation.

The last shooting incident under investigation occurred in the 2800 block of N. 53rd Street at approximately 12:05 a.m. Police say a 37-year-old man sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg.

Police say no suspects have been taken into custody and the incident remains under investigation.
