Gennett powers Crew to win in Texas

ARLINGTON, TX -- Scooter Gennett looked like Babe Ruth in the Brewers 5-1 win at Texas on Tuesday night.
Milwaukee's 2nd baseman, replacing Ricky Weeks (out for the season ) in the line-up, smacked a solo homer and the go-ahead 2-run shot, as the Crew assured themselves a winning record (5-3) on the 9-game road trip.
Gennett hit his 4th homer in 26 games; he managed only 3 in 79 games at AAA Nashville.
Marco Estrada picked up his 2nd win in as many outings since coming off the disabled list.
He worked 6 strong innings, allowing just 1 run.
The 2nd and final game of the series is Wednesday night in Arlington.
