One dead, four injured following four separate shooting incidents

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating four separate shooting incidents that occurred Monday night, August 19th.  As a result of the shooting incidents, one person is dead and four others were injured.

The first shooting incident occurred in the 2200 block of W. Burnham at approximately 8:05 p.m. According to police, a 29-year-old Milwaukee man died and a 39-year-old Milwaukee man sustained a non-life threatening injury.

There are no suspects in custody.

The second shooting incident occurred in the 1800 block of N 36th St. at approximately 9:35 p.m. The male victim in this incident sustained a gunshot wound and is in stable condition at an area hospital. The motive is unknown and there are no suspects in custody at this time.

The third shooting incident occurred in the 1400 block of W. Lincoln at approximately 10:30 pm.  The 30-year-old male victim sustained a non-life threatening injury and is being treated at an area hospital. The motive is unknown. There are no suspects in custody at this time.

The fourth shooting incident occurred in the 4400 block of W. North Avenue at approximately 11:25 p.m. According to police, a 20-year-old woman sustained a non-life threatening injury.

The motive at this time appears to be a previous dispute.  There are no suspects in custody at this time.
