United Way aims to raise $52.5 million



MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The United Way of Greater Milwaukee has set a lofty goal for its latest fundraising campaign.

The organization announced on Tuesday, September 3rd that it hopes to raise $52.5 million -- a million dollars more than last year.

The United Way helps 160 programs at 80 different local agencies. The organization focuses on ways to improve education, income and health.

United Way's fundraising efforts run through December 12th.
