MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Kohl’s Cares is adorning iconic statues throughout the City of Milwaukee with pink Superhero capes as a reminder that anyone can be a superhero and everyone has the power to fight breast cancer.

The capes are being added to the statues in the week prior to the Susan G. Komen Southeast Wisconsin Race for the Cure.

In addition, Kohl’s Department Stores is turning its exterior store signs at 14 Milwaukee-area Kohl’s stores and Kohl’s corporate headquarters in Menomonee Falls pink in recognition of Kohl’s support of the Susan G. Komen Southeast Wisconsin Race for the Cure on Sunday, September 22. The signs will remain pink throughout the month of October, in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
