MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Milwaukee police are investigating a collision between a squad car and another vehicle near 22nd and Hopkins on the city’s north side on Wednesday, November 6th.

The wreck happened shortly after 2 p.m.

Police say the incident was an aggravated assault — and say unknown suspects were shooting at the occupants of a Dodge Charger from another vehicle when the driver of the Charger lost control and struck a legally parked unoccupied marked squad car.

The Charger was driven by a 19-year-old Milwaukee woman who was not injured.

Three passengers were taken to the hospital for treatment — including a 16-year-old female, a 13-year-old female and a seven-month-old female. A 19-year-old male passenger was uninjured.
