Two Grafton teens arrested, suspected in burglaries
GRAFTON (WITI) -- Two boys from the Village of Grafton, ages 16 and 17, are suspected of committing burglary in the Town of Grafton on Monday, December 9th.
Officials say around 2 p.m. Monday, Ozaukee Co. Sheriff's Deputies responded to a burglary alarm in the 1800 block of Maple Rd. Once on the scene, they determined an attempted burglary had occurred by at least two suspects.
A short time later, a citizen called 911 to report two high-school-age suspects were running suspiciously through yards near Cedar Creek Rd. and 5th Ave.
Sheriff's detectives, deputies and Grafton police officers located the teens and arrested them.
Sheriff’s Detectives believe the pair are also responsible for a burglary on Edgewater Ct. in the Town of Grafton on December 3rd. Burglary and Attempted Burglary Charges have been forwarded to the Juvenile Authorities for the 16-year-old and to the District Attorney for the 17-year-old.
