GREEN BAY — Packers running back Eddie Lacy has been named Rookie of the Year by the Pro Football Writers.
The former star at Alabama set team rookie records by rushing for 1,178 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Green Bay lost quarterbacks coach Bem McAdoo Tuesday; the 36 year-old has been hired by the New York Giants to be their offensive coordinator.
The Tennessee Titans may have interest in hiring Packers assistant head coach/inside linebackers boss Winston Moss as their defensive coordinator.
Meantime, NFC North rival Detroit selected Jim Caldwell (former Colts head coach) to be their new head coach.
