Brewers' baseball gear packed up for Spring Training

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The long Wisconsin winter has everyone looking forward to warmer temps, melted snow and green grass.

So on Wednesday, February 5th, the Milwaukee Brewers packed up their Spring Training equipment so it could be shipped to the team's ballpark in Maryvale, Arizona. The gear included uniforms, bats, balls, catcher's gear, helmets, hats, practice gear and medical supplies.

The truck hauling the gear is expected to arrive in Arizona on Sunday -- and then be unpacked on Monday.

Pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report Saturday, February 15th -- and the first full squad workout is scheduled for Monday, February 17th.

Opening Day for the 2014 season is now less than two months away.
