Flight for Life called to Mequon after accidental shooting in River Hills

RIVER HILLS (WITI) -- North Shore Fire/Rescue officials say Flight for Life was called in following an accidental shooting incident that occurred in River Hills late Tuesday afternoon, February 18th.

Flight for Life was called to the intersection of County Line Road and Port Washington Road in Mequon to transport one patient that suffered an accidental, self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The patient's injuries are described as critical.

The shooting reportedly happened at a home in River Hills.

The River Hills Police Department, the Mequon Police Department and the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office are investigating at the scene.
