Woman shot inside vehicle while driving in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Authorities say a 26-year-old woman was shot while driving in her vehicle Saturday afternoon, February 22nd on Milwaukee's north side.

The incident took place at approximately 12:40 p.m. in the 2400 block of N. 29th Street.

Shots were fired into the woman's vehicle by a suspect in another vehicle. Both were in traffic at the time.

The victim was treated and released from an area hospital with minor injuries.

The reason for the shooting is unknown at this time. The incident is still under investigation.
