Police say man asked 11-year-old girl to get into his car

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating after they say a suspicious person asked an 11-year-old girl to get into his car with him on Milwaukee's south side.

It happened Tuesday afternoon, March 18th around 3:00 p.m.

The victim reports she was walking in the 2500 block of S. Graham Street when she was approached by an unknown suspect who asked her if she would get into his car with him.

Police say the girl immediately ran home and reported the incident to her mother, who called police.

The victim reports the suspect is a white man in his 30s, clean shaven, with light brown short curly hair. He was wearing an orange hat, black sunglasses, a black coat and gray gloves.

His vehicle is described as a white four-door car with rust and scratch marks on the side.
