World War II vets take flight in plane like those used in war

OSHKOSH (WITI) -- It was a special moment in Oshkosh on Monday, April 14th as some World War II veterans took a step back in time. They went high in the sky in a plane similar to what they flew over war zones so many years ago.

Officials at the EAA say this really was a special flight.

As veterans surpass 90 years of age, the EAA says it is getting harder and harder to assemble a full crew -- and says something like this probably won't happen again.
