Balancing act: Keeping the Public Market open during construction

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Despite heavy construction in the area, the Milwaukee Public Market has been able to remain open during the I-794 Lake Freeway/Hoan Bridge project.

To accommodate its employees and monthly parkers, the Public Market and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation have worked closely. There have been some adjustments to traffic patterns. But all customers to the market have been encouraged to "change their approach, not their destination."
