Busy night for Milwaukee police: 3 shootings in just 20 minutes
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police investigated three shootings within 20 minutes of each other late Saturday and early Sunday morning.
The first shooting happened at 11:45 p.m. Saturday a block north of 24th and North Ave. A 37-year-old woman is being treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The shooting appears to be accidental.
The second shooting was reported at 11:50 p.m. near 22nd and Orchard on the city's south side. A 40-year-old man is being treated at a hospital and is in grave condition. The motive is unknown and there are no suspects in custody at this time.
Finally, the third shooting was reported at 12:05 a.m. Sunday. It happened near 35th and Walnut. A 24-year-old man is being treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The shooting appears to be robbery-related. There are no suspects in custody at this time.
