Tractor rolls 40 ft down hill, man flown flight for life

SHEBOYGAN CO. (WITI) -- On Friday, May 30, 2014 at 6:51 p.m. the Sheboygan County Emergency Dispatch Center received a 911 call requesting medical assistance at a residence on Judy Dr. in the Town of Plymouth regarding a male subject complaining of back pain after rolling his lawn tractor.

Officials say a 60-year-old male was operating a lawn tractor, and while attempting to turn it around on the edge of the property, the tires lost traction. The tractor rolled approximately 40 feet down this hill with the man on the tractor.

Officials say a deputy, Plymouth Ambulance, Glenbeulah First Responders, and Glenbeulah Fire Department responded to the 911 call. Flight for Life was called and transported the man to Theda-Clark in Neenah.

The man was conscious during the incident but police say his current medical status is not known. Not additional details are available at this time.
