Have a problem with slugs and mice in the garden? Here's what you should do

Strawberries are ripe. Despite the hard winter, our Junebearing strawberries are producing a bumper crop. There are some minor problems like slugs, mice and leaf spot. We’ll discuss what to do about each.

Potato progress is good. Cool soils mean tubers are still being produced. Hilling with soil will be important this year to prevent the ones near the surface from becoming exposed to the sun, which can cause them to turn green.

Herbs are beautiful, smell delightful, flavorful, easy to grow and economical. UW-Extension Master Gardener volunteer Susan VanDenBerg will give tips on caring for and using this spectacular group of plants.
