20-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man charged: Neighbor says the man sold his Jeep...for scrap!

WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (AP) — A felony charge has been filed against a Wisconsin Rapids man accused of selling his neighbor's Jeep for scrap while the neighbor was away.

Twenty-year-old Justin Braze is charged with counterfeiting a vehicle title, theft and obstructing an officer. A criminal complaint says the neighbor came home earlier this month to find his Jeep Grand Cherokee missing.

Daily Tribune Media says investigators traced the SUV to an auto salvage yard. The complaint says the yard's owner identified Braze in a photo as the man who sold him the Jeep for $300.
