Girl hospitalized; one of three struck by car before Menomonee Falls' Fourth of July parade
MENOMONEE FALLS (WITI) -- Menomonee Falls Police and Fire Departments on Thursday evening, July 3rd responded to an incident in which three people were struck by a vehicle.
It happened on State Highway 175/Appleton Avenue in the 14600 block -- just after 5:30 p.m.
Police say their preliminary investigation reveals a single vehicle struck three pedestrians.
The pedestrians were taken to the hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
Police say the driver of the striking vehicle is a 19-year-old Milwaukee woman. She was not injured.
Police say she remained on the scene -- and is cooperating with the investigation.

Police say the crash remains under investigation.
The crash caused police to close State Highway 175/Appleton Avenue approximately 10 minutes earlier than the scheduled 6:00 p.m. closing for the annual July 3rd parade.
