Sentenced: Ashley Ford pleads guilty in kidnapping/assault of 13-year-old girl

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A woman suspected of helping to kidnap and assault a Milwaukee teenager pleaded guilty on Monday, July 14th.

24-year-old Ashley Ford pleaded guilty to an amended felony charge of third degree sexual assault.

Police say Ford and her boyfriend, Lamar Cone picked up a 13-year-old girl in November.

Investigators say both Ford and Cone sexually assaulted the teen.

The girl escaped while the two were asleep.

On Monday, Ford was sentenced to a year-and-a-half in prison with three years of extended supervision.

She must also register as a sex offender for 15 years.
