It's Paul Ryan's turn to take the Ice Bucket Challenge!
MILWAUKEE (AP) — Republican U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan has taken the "ice bucket challenge."
That's where people dowse themselves with freezing water to help raise awareness of Lou Gehrig's disease.
His daughter poured the bucket of ice water on him in a video posted to his Facebook page Saturday afternoon. He says he also donated to the ALS Foundation, which launched the challenge.
His spokesman previously said he donated $100.
Ryan accepted the challenge from Gov. Scott Walker, who posted a video Friday. Walker's Democratic challenger Mary Burke posted her "ice bucket challenge" video Saturday as well.
The ice bucket challenge phenomenon was launched to raise money to fight amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. The foundation reports raising more than $11 million since July 29 because of challenges.
