Milwaukee police busy Friday into Saturday; three shootings and a stabbing

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police were busy Friday night and into Saturday morning -- responding to three separate shooting incidents and a stabbing.

The first incident occurred around 10:45 p.m. Friday, August 29th. Police responded to a shooting in the 2300 block of N. 51st Street.

Police say a 24-year-old man was shot during an argument. He is expected to survive.

Police don't have anyone in custody.



The second incident was a stabbing that occurred in the 2800 block of N. Humboldt.

Police say a man was attacked in a park -- and had to have stitches in his head.

He is expected to survive.

It is unclear whether anyone is in custody.



Around 2:20 a.m. Saturday, police responded to a shooting that occurred near 6th and Reservoir.

Police say two women were injured (ages 20 and 23). They were shot after apparently arguing with suspects in a dark vehicle.

Police say it is believed they will survive.

No one is in custody, and police say their investigation is ongoing.



Police say just before 8:30 a.m. Saturday, a 45-year-old man was shot near 21st and Hopkins during a drug-related robbery attempt.

Police say the man is expected to survive.

No one is in custody.
