Body of missing man found in Walworth County lake

ELKHORN (AP) — The body of a missing man has been recovered from a Walworth County lake.

Sheriff’s officials say friends last saw 30-year-old Robert Giner, of Schaumburg, Illinois about 2 a.m. Sunday, September 7th on a dock at Middle Lake in the Town of LaGrange. Giner was reported missing about 11:30 a.m.

Walworth County Sheriff’s deputies searched the area. The department’s dive team conducted a search of the lake and found Giner’s body around 5 p.m.

An autopsy was scheduled for Monday, September 8th.

We’re told foul play isn’t suspected in this case.
