BUSTED: Police arrest six suspects in East Side armed robbery

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police arrested six suspects early Monday, October 13th for their role in an armed robbery on the city's east side.

District One officers were dispatched to a report of the robbery near Cramer St. and Park Pl. at about 1:20 a.m. Officers talked to the victim, a 21-year-old Milwaukee man, who told them he was walking when two suspects approached him and demanded his belongings. One of the suspects implied a weapon and both suspects took his cell phone, laptop, book bag and other belongings before they fled on foot.

The victim was able to give officers a detailed description of the car the suspects were using and shortly after 3 a.m. District Five officers located that vehicle near Center and Buffum Sts. Officers located six suspects inside the car and took them into custody. Several of the stolen items taken in the earlier robbery were found in the vehicle.

The suspects are two 15-year-old males, three 18-year-old men, and a 20-year-old man.

Milwaukee Police will present the case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
