Milwaukee Tool files lawsuit against eight companies for copyright infringement
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee Tool has filed eight lawsuits for copyright infringement.
The lawsuits deal with patented, lithium-ion battery technology that was allegedly used by other companies in their products.
Six of the companies Milwaukee Tool has filed a lawsuit against include: Richpower Industries, Inc., Hilti Inc., Chervon North America Inc., Sunrise Global Marketing LLC, Max USA Corp. and Tooltechnic Systems LLC.
Another company listed as a defendant is Kenosha-based Snap-on Tools.
These companies now have 21 days to respond.
