BUSTED! Three vehicles show up as search warrant is executed in Oconomowoc; four facing charges

WAUKESHA COUNTY (WITI) -- Four people now face criminal charges after a search warrant was executed on a suspected drug house in Oconomowoc.

Those facing charges include: 32-year-old Chad Corrao of Oconomowoc, 39-year-old Ryan Fick of Watertown, 48-year-old John McMickle of Oconomowoc and 52-year-old Thomas Stephan of Oconomowoc.

McMickle faces one felony count of manufacturing/delivering heroin (less than three grams) and a felony count of maintaining a drug trafficking place.

Stephan faces a felony count of possession of a firearm by a felon, a misdemeanor count of possession of THC and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Fick faces a felony count of possession of narcotic drugs, and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Corrao faces a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

A criminal complaint filed in the case says on November 3rd, a controlled buy was set up involving a confidential informant. The informant was given buy money and agreed to purchase pills from McMickle. The confidential informant was equipped with a video recording device. The informant eventually learned McMickle didn't have any pills available -- but he apparently had heroin for sale.

The complaint says the informant went to McMickle's residence on Sheldon Road in the city of Oconomowoc and purchased $40 worth of heroin from McMickle.

Seven days later, on November 10th, a search warrant was executed on McMickle's residence. He was present at the time, and was taken into custody.

The complaint says "an abundant" amount of evidence was recovered from the residence and the detached garage -- including a heroin kit, numerous medications and/or pills and paraphernalia consistent with maintaining a drug house.

As the search warrant was being executed, the complaint says a van showed up -- and inside the van was Chad Corrao. The van was searched, and officials found a plastic bag containing numerous needles. Corrao was then taken into custody. On his person, the complaint says officials found a straw commonly used to snort narcotics and a pill crusher.

A second vehicle arrived at the residence while the search warrant was being executed, and inside was Ryan Fick, according to the complaint.

The complaint says a pat-down of Fick produced a pill container with numerous pills, and a pill crusher. The complaint says inside his vehicle, officials found a bag with two straws containing a heavy white powder residue. That residue tested positive for the presence of heroin, according to the complaint. Officials also found a marijuana pipe in Fick's vehicle.

Officials discovered Fick's two young children in his vehicle as well, according to the complaint.

A third vehicle arrived at the residence while the search warrant was being executed, and inside that vehicle was Thomas Stephan.

The complaint says Stephan was further identified as McMickle's roommate.

Stephan was found to have marijuana in his possession, along with drug paraphernalia used for smoking marijuana, according to the complaint.

Officials were able to determine Stephan is a convicted felon.

While executing the search warrant, the complaint says officials found two firearms in the home.

The complaint says Stephan admitted to officials his fingerprints would be found on the firearms because he had handled them -- but he said they belonged to McMickle.
