MILWAUKEE (WITI) — A 17-year-old Milwaukee male was taken into custody by Milwaukee police on Saturday, November 22nd for burglary. Police say the suspect was out on bail for another burglary case when the incident occurred.

Officers were dispatched to the area of W. Congress and 76th at about 4:20 p.m. for a report of a garage burglary.

When officers arrived at the scene, they noticed the suspect pushing a snow blower in the alley. A neighbor, a 71-year-old Milwaukee man, told officers that his garage was broken into and the suspect stole a lawn mower and a snow blower.

The officers stopped the suspect and the victim identified the snow blower as his. The suspect, a 17-year-old Milwaukee male, was taken into custody.

The suspect is out on bail for a burglary case back in August. MPD will present charges in this current case in the coming days.
