Milwaukee police investigate two shootings, one appears accidental

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating two shootings that happened on Saturday, November 29th.

The first incident occurred near 44th and Meinecke Ave. just before 2:30 p.m. The victim, a 22-year-old male, suffered a non-life-threatening injury and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The motive for the shooting is unknown and there are no suspects in custody.



The second incident occurred around 3:15 pm and appears to be an accidental shooting at a location which has not yet be determined.

The victim, a 53-year-old male, suffered a non-life-threatening injury and was taken to a hospital.

An acquaintance while handling his weapon, accidentally discharged it injuring the victim.  There are no suspects in custody.
