One dead, three injured following four separate shooting incidents



MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating four separate shooting incidents that occurred  late Tuesday night, December 9th and early Wednesday morning, December 10th. One person is dead and three others are injured as a result of the shootings.

According to police, a homicide occurred near 29th and Locust shortly before 11:30 p.m.  Police say a 23-year-old woman from Milwaukee was shot by a known suspect during a physical altercation.  The victim was taken to the hospital where she later died from her injuries.

Police are currently searching for the suspect.



Just two hours earlier, a shooting occurred near 27th and Melvina.  Police say a 41-year-old man was shot inside a residence around 9:30 p.m. The suspect was taken to the hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.  The motive appears to be robbery and police continue to search for suspects.



The third shooting under investigation happened near 27th and Lloyd. Police say a 28-year-old Milwaukee man was shot outside a residence shortly before 11:30 p.m. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.  A 32-year-old Milwaukee man who lived at the residence was arrested for the shooting.



Police are also investigating a shooting that happened near 95th and Brown Deer. Police say a 40-year-old Milwaukee man was shot inside a residence around 12:00 a.m. on December 10th. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.  There are no suspects in custody and police continue to investigate.
