Police: Two shot, injured in apparent drug-related incident

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police say two people were shot and injured in what appears to be a drug-related incident.

It happened Wednesday, December 23rd near 64th and Locust.

Police say two victims -- a 21-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were shot.

The 21-year-old man suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The 17-year-old boy suffered a non life-threatening injury. He was released from the hospital but police took him into custody on outstanding warrants.

Police say they have two persons of interest in custody -- a 13-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy.
