Woman shot, wounded outside tavern on Milwaukee’s north side

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police say an 18-year-old woman was shot and wounded outside a tavern on the city's north side early Saturday, January 3rd.

The shooting incident happened outside Leden's Villard Inn around 2 a.m. The victim was shot in the calf -- and was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

There is no one in custody in connection with this shooting.

    Last week, when two 16 year olds were shot, I pointed out that they were coming from a party at this location. Here is that post, for those who actually want to take action: “If you want to call the bar and make a complaint about the fact that they area safe haven for hoodlums and drama, here is their info: Villard Inn, 414-535-0228 Owner Dwayne Turner. Previously, the license for this facility was for 25+. If that hasnt changed then this party was probably in violation of the license.”
