January’s “Gift to the Community:” All-access, free weekend at Milwaukee Public Museum

(WITI) — FOX6 and the Greater Milwaukee Foundation are teaming up to bring you Gifts to the Community – something new, fun and free to do each month – as we celebrate the Greater Milwaukee Foundation’s 100 years of service to the Milwaukee area.

January’s Gift to the Community is an all-access, free weekend at the Milwaukee Public Museum, Saturday, January 24th and Sunday, January 25th. The Milwaukee Public Museum will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. NO reservations are required and all guests are welcome, regardless of county of residence.

  • Free general admission for all visitors at Milwaukee Public Museum
  • Free admission to all shows at the Daniel M. Soref National Geographic Dome Theater a& Planetarium
  • All visitors named “members for a day” receiving discounts on food, beverages and gifts
  • Storytellers in period dress interacting with visitors on the Streets of Old Milwaukee
  • Milwaukee Public Museum educators engaging guests throughout the exhibit floors
