FOX6's Brad Hicks searches Seattle for barista that can make a perfect Packers "G"
SEATTLE (WITI) -- A good cup of joe. Coffee is one of the things Seattle is known for, and ahead of the Green Bay Packers' big playoff matchup with the Seattle Seahawks, FOX6's Brad Hicks went on the hunt for a barista that could make a perfect Green Bay Packers logo -- and he found much more than that!
At Cherry Street Coffee House in Seattle, a good cup of coffee just won't do!
A cup of coffee at the Cherry Street Coffee House is an art -- and few Seattle baristas master the coffee bean as well as Alexandria Laddich. It must be that good ole' Wisconsin work ethic!
"This store gets a lot of regulars. It's pretty competitive. Everything has to be precise and right. The milk has to be steamed perfectly. The espresso shots have to pour out nice. It takes a lot of hard work and practice," Laddich said.
Laddich is a "Badgers" barista! She attended Slinger High School -- and UW-Milwaukee.
"I moved out here for culinary school," Laddich said.
So who better than to take on the ultimate Seattle barista challenge?
Perfectly steamed foam, laid across a sea of luscious latte -- a Green Bay Packers "G!"
Go Pack go!
