CAUGHT ON CAMERA: "Too excited to be scared," paddle boarder comes within feet of killer whales!

LAGUNA BEACH, California (WITI) – Ever wonder what it would be like to come within a few feet of a killer whale? A paddle boarder from California got to do just that!

Rich German posted a YouTube video of his experience, which he was able to capture with his GoPro camera while out in the ocean near Laguna Beach in California.

German said he has had several interactions with animals while he has paddle boarded in the past, but always wanted to see killer whales.

He was “too excited to be scared,” German said about his experience, although he said he did kneel down at one point because he was worried one of the whales would knock him over.
