In trouble again: 25-year-old Kenosha man arrested for his 23rd operating while suspended offense

MOUNT PLEASANT (WITI) -- Mount Pleasant police say they recently arrested a 25-year-old man, accused of his 23rd operating while suspended offense.

The arrest occurred on February 5th shortly before 7:30 a.m.

Police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle headed northbound on State Highway 32. An officer confirmed that the registered owner had active warrants and a suspended driver's license.

That driver was identified as Tommy Shavers of Kenosha.

Police learned Shavers had several outstanding warrants out of Kenosha and Pleasant Prairie for traffic offenses and he was taken into custody.

He was issued citations for operating while suspended (23rd offense), and operating without insurance.
