Police: Man taken to the hospital after shooting near 14th and Lincoln

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Saturday evening, February 14th.

It happened around 6:00 p.m. in the area of South 14th Street and Lincoln Avenue.

Investigators say the victim went to a gas station near West Lapham Boulevard and I-94. From there, the victim was taken to the hospital for treatment. We're told that victim is expected to be okay.

Police say the victim is not cooperating with the investigation.

No one is in custody.
