Meijer purchases Sheboygan Memorial Mall space for new grocery store
SHEBOYGAN (WITI) -- Midwest retailer Meijer has purchased a large property in Sheboygan, with plans to build a new store there.
This week, the company bought the Memorial Mall space, which includes a closed Sears store, for nearly $11 million.
The new store won't be built for a few years, so until then, the mall will remain open.
Meijer plans to open its first Wisconsin stores in Grafton and Kenosha in June.
It plans to build two to three new stores annually in Wisconsin.
