Brown Deer Elementary School student takes a ride in a fire engine

BROWN DEER (WITI) -- A kid in Brown Deer gets the thrill of his young life today -- he got to ride in a fire engine!

Ferris, a 4-K student at Brown Deer Elementary, got a ride to school from the North Shore Fire Department Friday morning, April 10th.

While riding Ferris was able to blow the air horn just before school.

So why was he given a ride? He was the lucky winner of a raffle that benefits the Brown Deer Elementary PTO.
