Furnace malfunction blamed for fire that occurred at home near Stowell & Park Place

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A furnace malfunction is being blamed for a fire that occurred at a home in Milwaukee Sunday morning, April 12th.

It happened near Stowell and Park Place around 10:00 a.m.

Officials say the fire started in the attic. It was able to be brought under control quickly.

No one was injured.

Damage estimates haven't yet been released.
